Check Out the Best Wing Guards of the 2022/23 NBA Season

After the All-Star Game break, the NBA listed the best wing guards of the 2022/23 season.

With just under two-thirds of the current campaign played, the NBA have elected the top names in the position so far. In addition to numbers, the team’s regularity and campaign were taken into account.

1. Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers)

Donovan Mitchell and Cleveland Cavaliers completed each other this season. No wonder, the former Utah Jazz player is the highest scoring wing guard in the league. As a result, the team is in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

His move to the Cavs also served as a way for Mitchell to prove that he is capable of maintaining his aggression on offense. There are 27 points per game, being an attribute that is worth a lot for the position. Once again, the number 45 was called up for the All-Star Game.

2. Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics)

Year after year, Jaylen Brown shows evolution in the NBA. This year, he established himself as a born scorer and shares the lead on the team with Jayson Tatum.

One of the best wing guards of the season in the NBA is also one of the most complete in the position. He sets up, scores from the perimeter and into the paint. Finally, he still defends very well.

3. Jordan Poole (Golden State Warriors)

With the recent injuries to Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole has grown even more as a leading man for the Golden State Warriors. With that, he was able to increase his offensive volume, proving that he is a player of absurd talent in the attack.

4. Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns)

Historically, in the NBA, point guard is synonymous with scoring. Devin Booker, therefore, is no different. The Phoenix Suns player is capable of scoring from anywhere on the court.

5. Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves)

The youngest on that list is Anthony Edwards. Despite his young age, he has established himself as one of the best wing guards in the NBA this season.

The Minnesota Timberwolves ace, after all, plays with personality. No wonder, he took the reins of the team and became the main player of the team in the current season.
