Sport is something that unites fun, competition and even collaborates for physical and mental health. This practice is almost an inheritance from the ancients, since it originated many years ago and remains in society today.

There are different types of modalities, each with its own characteristics and that attract the attention of different audiences. Whether to practice or just follow and cheer for athletes and teams.

Downhill Longboard

Skateboarding is one of the sports most practiced by young people. But skateboarding is not just fun, there are different modalities in which athletes can compete in championships and receive prizes for it. One of these modalities is the downhill longboard.

The objective of this daring sport is to go down hills controlling the longboard, a slightly larger skateboard than the traditional one. The greater the complexity of the maneuver performed, the better it shows the athlete’s skill.

Soccer X1

If the idea is to get away from the ordinary, X1 football brings this proposal to lovers of the most famous sport in the country. Also known as a one-on-one challenge, this modality is a new way of playing soccer.

Basically, in X1 football there is only one outfield player and one goalkeeper, the focus is all on the athlete’s ability on the pitch. Since, he needs to dribble, attack and defend himself to be victorious in the match.

Breakdance

Although breakdancing emerged a long time ago, in the 1970s, it has only recently become recognised as a sport. It will even be part of the 2024 Olympic Games.

Athletes challenge themselves with dance passes that explore different parts of the body and display incredible skills such as balance. But beyond that, attitude is an important feature in the modality.

Padel

It is a sport that combines characteristics of tennis, racket and squash. Padel is played in pairs and the main object is a racket called “pala”, in addition to a tennis ball. The big difference between this sport and tennis is the way the ball is moved by the players.

Climbing

Climbing is a sport that has existed for a while, it can be divided into three modalities: speed, bouldering and guided. However, when it enters the Olympic Games, it will be competed as a single category.

The speed modality requires the athlete to complete his climbing route in the shortest possible time. In bouldering, however, the clock factor is not the biggest problem, but the different routes with obstacles that climbers have to face.
