At the press conference after the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to the Phoenix Suns in Las Vegas, LeBron said that the Frenchman is like an alien. Furthermore, he nailed that Wembanyama is a generational talent.

“So everybody’s been considered a unicorn for the last few years, but he’s kind of an alien.” LeBron said.

“I’ve never seen someone his size play so smoothly and gracefully. Like, he’s 2.19m, 2.21m tall, and he has the ability to put the ball down, throw step backs from the perimeter, block shots.

“I mean, what he does is amazing. He’s definitely a generational talent. Anyway, I hope he stasi healthy, which is the most important thing.” LeBron added.

Wembanyama has scored 37 points and hit five blocks. In addition, he converted seven three-pointers in 11 attempts. That is, he was efficient protecting the rim and spaced the court with his impossible to contest perimeter shots.

Furthermore, Wembanyama showed skill with the ball, mobility and lateral agility above average for an athlete of 2.19m in heiho and 2.36m in wingspan.

During the game, Wembanyama also took the ball to the attack, hit inside, created his own shot. Anyway, he did a little bit of everything. That’s why he has already been in the favour of LeBron.

Wembnyama has the techniques to be fantastic on both sides of the court. So it’s not an exaggeration to say he’s one of the most exciting potentials in basketball history, possibly the most stunning since LeBron.

Several scouts and analysts classify the young Frenchman as a combination of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Rudy Gobert and Kevin Durant. In other words, a rare talent in basketball.
