Daniel Dubois Calls Out Oleksandr Usyk for a Rematch

The IBF heavyweight world champion, Daniel Dubois, came out in the public after Oleksandr Usyk trashed Tyson Fury on Sunday in Saudi Arabia by challenging Usyk for a rematch bout.

Fury lost the decision to Usyk for the second time this year and their rematch was even more one sided than the first fight, where Usyk took the decision 116-112.

Usyk defeated Dubois in August 2023 via a stoppage triumph over the British challenger.

However, the Ukrainian was knocked down by Dubois when he hit him low in the fifth causing him to fall to the canvas.

“I want my revenge! I want my revenge, Usyk. Well done tonight. God bless, but I want my revenge. Let’s get it! Let’s go!” Dubois said.

In September 1, 2024, Dubois knockedout former champion Anthony Joshua to retain his IBF heavyweight world champion.

Next, Dubois and Joseph Parker are expected to fight on February 22, 2025 in Riyadh on a fairly loaded card.

The card features the return bout between light heavyweight titleholders Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol.

“I don’t want to mess around, I want to fight for the undisputed. I want to fight this winner – that’s what I am here for.” Dubois said.

Speaking of the fight results, Usyk stated that he was ready to meet Dubois in the ring once again.

“Yeah, no problem. I am ready, next fight no problem.” Usyk said.

“Now I wanna (go) back home, a little bit of rest, and I’m ready. Your excellency [Turki Alalshikh], make me a fight with Daniel Dubois.” Usyk added.

Since Usyk stepped up to accept the challenge of facing Dubois again, fight fans are still eagerly waiting for such announcement to place to make the fight of the year.
