Tyson Fury to Face Anthony Joshua in 2025?

Following his loss to Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night Tyson Fury have said nothing regarding his future, but it has now emerged that the Gypsy King has told his inner circle of his plans.

“I want to go home and have a good Christmas. I have worked hard for this fight. Thanks to everyone who came and supported. You may see me fight again, you may not.” Fury said.

Usyk defeated Tyson Fury in their rematch. The fight which took place in Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ended on the judges’ decision after 12 rounds.

“I thought I’ve won both fights, but then again, I’ve got two losses on my record now, so there’s not much I can do about it,” Fury said.

“I can just fight me heart out and do the best I can. But I’ll always believe until the day I die that I won that fight.” Fury added.

As for Fury’s next fight, promoter Frank Warren, who, like a frustrated Fury, believed his man had done more than enough to win Saturday’s rematch and was saying that the scoring was “nuts,” and he said that it is now up to Fury to decide on his future in boxing.

“We’ll have to see what happens in the future for Tyson. I thought he was in control, boxed really well and had Usyk on his back foot.” Warren said.

“It’s up to Tyson [if he fights again]. It’s just after a fight and emotions are running high.” Warren added.

Fury still has many choices in 2025. There are many suitable opponents in the sea of the heavyweights division, but he is expected to make a dream fight with the former world champion Anthony Joshua.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn echoed his sentiments that a Wembley fight between the pair next year will as always be a blockbuster regardless of the fact that they both are coming from losses.
